Taize Prayer
Our parishioners hold the "Taize Prayer" at 7:30 pm on Friday night of the fourth week of each month to praise God with short songs. Taize Prayer was initiated by Br. Roger, a France Taize, whose purpose was to pray for peace and love.
Meeting Time: 7:30 pm on Friday night of the fourth week of each
Month
Activity: Taize’s communion prayers are mainly on singing, reading and silence. The leader leads the participants to enter into the atmosphere of prayer with singing. In addition to singing praise, glory, worship and praying to God, and praying for the common and individual intentions.
There's a situational arrangement and decoration to help participants to prepare their soul. In prayer, it is a repeating of the melody and the lyrics of the simple Taize poetry, guiding people into their heart and meeting with God. Read Bible verses, express communion in Christ, without preaching, and talk freely with the Lord within the Holy Spirit. Listen to God in silence! Let the Holy Spirit soothe your soul and strengthen your faith!
